Eugenia KAYITESI is the Executive Director of the Institute of Policy Analysis and Research (IPAR-Rwanda). She is an Honors Graduate of Social Sciences from Makerere University and has an MBA from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands. She is pursuing her PhD degree in Business Administration specializing in Strategic Management from Jomo Kenyatta University, Kenya. Eugenia is the current vice president of Network of Thinktanks for Peace (Nett4Peace) under African Union Department of Political Affairs for Peace and Security. She is a member of Board of Directors for NCBA Rwanda, she sits on the National Independent Review Panel (NIRP) for Rwanda Public Procurement Authority (RPPA) and is also member of the Steering Committee on the UN Women programme on unpaid care work in Rwanda. Previously Eugenie served as a President of the Policy Institute Committee (PIC)under ACBF and as an advisory Board member of the African Portal. She has a vast experience of working with Public, Private and Civil Society organizations in Rwanda with a focus to Capacity Building, Organizational Development, Policy Analysis and Research. Eugenia has spoken at different occasions in International and Regional Conferences on matters pertaining to role of research in informing policy and decision-making policy
